Hi-Yield Improved Slug & Snail Bait is a controlled-release pellet designed to control slugs and snails. The active ingredient is Metaldehyde at a concentration of 3.25%. This product is intended for use around listed fruits, vegetables, citrus, and ornamentals. It is formulated as an all-weather bait that remains effective for 3 to 4 weeks. Application is performed by distributing mini pellets as a barrier around garden plants. The product is highly toxic to children and domestic animals if ingested; it is critical to keep children and pets away from treated areas until the applied product is no longer visible. Users should avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not apply to hayfields, pastures, or lawns, and do not use on hayfields or cemeteries. Avoid applying to areas where animals may graze. The product should not be used on any plant that is intended for human consumption if the product is still visible.
