Miravis is a broad-spectrum fungicide containing the active ingredient pydiflumetofen (1.57%) formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC). It is designed for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs to control various plant diseases across multiple crop groups, including fruiting vegetables, leafy greens, lettuce, peanuts, stone fruit, and strawberries. The product is intended for outdoor application via various methods such as soil applications (drip, banded, in-furrow, or transplant water), chemigation, and spray applications. When handling, technicians must wear specific personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoe covers, and chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile, neoprene, or Viton). If using closed systems, handlers may have reduced PPE requirements. Users should be aware of environmental hazards, as the product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates; avoid drift and runoff into water bodies. It is also important to manage resistance by following the specific resistance management strategies outlined in the label, such as rotating with fungicides from different FRAC groups.
