← Back to Force 3G product overview
Force 3G is a granular insecticide containing 3.0% Tefluthrin, a pyrethroid active ingredient. It is specifically designed for the control of various soil-dwelling pests, including Western Corn Rootworm, Northern Corn Rootworm, Southern Corn Rootworm, Mexican Corn Rootworm, Cutworms, Seedcorn Maggot, Seedcorn Blight, Lesser Cornstalk Borer, White Grub, and Wireworm. This product is intended for use on field corn, popcorn, seed corn, and sweet corn. Application is primarily performed at planting time as an in-furrow treatment, either by directing granules into the planter shoe or via a planter tube to ensure granules are placed near the root protection zone (approximately 7 inches wide and 5 inches deep). It can also be applied at cultivation within 30 days of seedling emergence. Users must adhere to strict application limits: do not exceed 10.9 lb ai/acre per year. Because this product is highly toxic to fish and aquatic organisms, special care must be taken near aquatic sites, including following highly erodible land (HEL) management practices and maintaining buffer zones. This is a Restricted Use Pesticide and must only be applied by certified applicators.
